We process and send online orders on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays. Any online orders received Thursday - Sunday are processed on Mondays.

We make all of our Biltong and dried meats here at our butchery using our Pinehill Butchery Recipes.
No, in order to maintain food safety, biltong that is to be sent via mail must be more towards the dry side to preserve flavours and inhibit mould growth. Wet or mooing biltong can still be purchased over the counter instore.
Yes we make all of our meat products on site. We have our own smoker and drying room for our specialty products.
No, the dried meat has a suitable shelf life. We ship orders earlier in the week to limit the time in transit with couriers as well.
No, at this time we only sell our dried meat. We hope to be able to do fresh deliveries in the future.
Yes, we have a wide range of Gluten Free options. All standard cuts of meat are gluten free. We have a range of Gluten Free Sausages, Marinated Meats, Dried Meats and Biltong. If you aren't sure please ask - and if you have any particular requirement please let us know and we'll do our best to accomodate you.

Yes, customers can pre-book Christmas Hams by paying a deposit in store. We also have this option online close to Xmas.
We are a nose to tail butcher. We don’t waste any of the animal. We have a range of Offal products, and anything that humans don’t like we turn into treats for dogs.
Unfortunately we do not ship to rural or South Island addresses. This is to limit the time parcels are in transit and ensure orders arrive in the best condition possible.
